silent sunday: a magical disney weekend
Well, I’m breaking the “silent” portion of Silent Sunday right off the bat, but it’s for a good reason. I wanted you all to know how much your comments on my last post meant to me – and to my mom. I read them all, and I’m pretty sure she did too. My heart felt lighter when I wrote about my brother and his diagnosis of schizophrenia. And then, you wrote such sweet and supportive comments and messages. Almost immediately, I felt the warm, virtual hugs that you sent. I feel less alone, and for that, I am grateful. Thank you.
If I could bake you all cookies, I totally would.
Now, on to the photos from our lovely weekend at Walt Disney World. We’ve just gotten back, and I’m happy to say we survived. And yes, we had lots of magical fun in the process.

I spent one of the best days at Disney with my son when he was 12. I’ll never forget it. You guys look like you had a blast. I love the picture of your beautiful kids hugging!

I’m glad your Mom read the comments from your prior post. Perhaps when she is having a tough day, she can come back and read them again and be reminded that she has a lot of understanding and support behind her and maybe that day will get a little better for her.
Your photos of your trip to Disney are wonderful. You have a beautiful family! I especially love the picture of your daughter with Belle (I think it’s Belle from Beauty and the Beast) Her face is so sweet, a little bit in awe and a little bit shy. Glad you enjoyed your time there.
