holiday gift guide: food gifts for those you love
posted on November 30, 2011 by Merry-Jennifer
I love picking up small-batch and hand-made foods throughout the year, and I love giving edibles as gifts. Really, it’s the one gift nearly guaranteed to please everyone, and it’s never returned. I’ve included a line-up below that I’ve had the pleasure to taste over the past year or so.
Want to give a real gift of love to someone you care about? Feed him.

An assortment of tasty treats for the food lover in your life:
macarons from sucre in new orleans
a holiday gift box of treats from eat boutique
Local Florida honey can't be beat.
artisanal salami from creminelli
bariani balsamic vinegar and olive oils, from california
a chocolate gift box from chocolate gourmet - including their irresistible fudgy brownies
Rare bird preserves, from Illinois. The cherry lime preserves are heavenly.
Now that I finally know how to cook dried beans, I'm hooked. Heirloom beans from Rancho Gordo make a fantastic gift. (hint, hint)
Locally made in Georgia, these pickles are addictive - especially the okra ones (okies). Angie will work with you to get a gift together in time for the holidays.
Fabulous edible gift guide MJ! Those cherry lime preserves sound like heaven 🙂
Love this gift guide for the holidays!
