silent sunday: a few of my favorite things

I intended to do a Silent Sunday post filled with beautiful photos of our Thanksgiving day – the bounty of food, my family celebrating the day together. What happened instead was that I spent the day completely immersed in living and being. And feeling grateful. So, these photos — from after the meal — are what I’m left with.

And they’re enough, really.

I had thought about doing the same thing… but I never found time to take pictures of the feast. I think I prefer these, though. 🙂

That is the sign of a wonderful Thanksgiving, when you are enjoying each moment to its fullest. Sometimes its nice to leave the camera on the table, isn’t it? I found myself doing that a lot with the kids last week. It was so nice to focus on them. So glad you had. Happy Thanksgiving!
