So glad you loved the Canadian Rockies! I loved this post. On our trip, we travelled w another family so there was a bit of peer pressure. We did the Lake Agnes hike thinking it was not too challenging and were so wrong – straight up  – nothing gradual about it. I think I was one of the ones you would have been smurking at who was panting on the side of the path 🙂

Last summer in Burlington VT, I encouraged us to do the RT 20 mile bike ride – we were regretting that at about mile 7 but there was no turning back and we were glad we finished. But let’s just say there was a bit of complaining along the way (from the best athlete in the family: kid 2). My chocolate cake that day was a fabulous local beer at the end. Whatever it takes!

Just awesome! The family, the photos, the accomplishment.

This looks awesome! My husband and I are going to Banff at the end of this month and we will definitely take this trail for the views and the cake. What type of camera did you take these photos with?

Hi Daryl. I use a Canon DSLR, but some photos were taken with my iPhone, too.
